House (Hausu) is a trippy ass japanese horror film from the late 70s. if you’re on the internet and haven’t seen this shit yet or at least heard of it you’re living under a cyber rock. the story is about a daughter in search of comfort from her mother’s death but instead finds trouble along with all her cute japanese school girl friends. my favorite scene is the trippy, creepy, fun dance scene in the middle of the movie. if you’re into experimental video effects and bad kitsch real time horror sets definitely check this. it’s kind of like watching a real time anime. warning: you’re going to fall in love with kung fu, you’ll know what i mean.
